In order to ensure optimal safety during the pandemic, access to the practice is by appointment only. This not only ensures that our patients are minimally exposed to others but also ensures that our equipment can be cleaned and disinfected appropriately.
During these testing times the team here at Wallace Opticians would like to reassure all of our patients that we continue to work with the use of NHS approved PPE, are fully compliant with NHS infection control procedures and our Practice remains a safe environment to provide all your eyecare services.
The Scottish Government has now relaxed rules on face mask wearing in health and social care settings. Patients, Staff and Clinicians at Wallace Opticians will no longer be required to wear a mask. We are happy to accommodate patients who would feel more comfortable if our staff wear PPE. Please request this prior to your visit.
Access to the practice is by an electrically locked security door. On arrival at the practice at your allocated appointment time, please knock and await a member of staff activating the door release.
